What does patio cleaning cost in Lincolnshire?
Everyone wants a number, and we get it. But anyone who gives you a fixed price for "a patio" before they've seen it is guessing — and usually building in a cushion to cover themselves. Here's how patio and driveway cleaning is actually priced in Lincolnshire, so you know what a fair quote looks like.
What changes the price
Size. The biggest factor. Cleaning is priced largely by the square metre, so a small courtyard and a sprawling patio are very different jobs.
Condition. A patio that's had a light clean in the last couple of years takes far less work than one that's vanished under ten years of moss, algae and black spot. Heavy black-spot lichen, in particular, needs a dedicated treatment on top of the wash.
Surface type. Block paving needs re-sanding afterwards. Natural stone and porcelain need a gentler touch. Decking and wood are different again. Each affects the time and the method.
Access. A patio you can walk a machine straight onto is quicker than one through a narrow side gate or up steps.
Extras. Re-sanding, a sealant afterwards, clearing weeds, or doing the paths and driveway at the same time all factor in (and doing several areas together is usually better value).
